Summer 2005 at d berman gallery will be celebrated with a capricious group exhibition entitled “Object.” We invited a select group of artists (two d berman regulars and three who are new to the gallery) to respond to that word, and the resulting show promises to be eclectic and curious.

The show includes chromatic collages and two sculptures in oppositional moods by Lance Letscher; fanciful and gorgeous button sculptures by Lauren Levy; lushly painted corian discs by Marjorie Moore; paintings of imaginary realms by Gladys Poorte; and poetic installation pieces by Steve Wiman.

This exhibition opens on 23 June 2005 with a reception from 6 – 8 PM, and will continue through 30 July 2005. A gallery talk will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, 25 June 2005.
