Jeffrey Dell's work pushes the boundaries of printmaking
by building a textural surface, not commonly seen
in serigraphy. With this unique use of the printmaking
medium, Dell makes surprising images that do not always
look like prints. In Big Pelt, the works play with
both line and color, and autobiographical motifs evoke
the artist's fascination with some of life’s exuberances,
as well as a few personal challenges.
