    J Hill and Hillevi Baar

From Houston, Texas. J Hill is a sculptor who works in unconventional media (hair, fabric, wax, false eyelashes) and traditional media  (bronze). His sculptures are witty and oddly beautiful. Hillevi Baar creates three-dimensional works by meticulously painting bright patterns on Herculene (a thin plastic) and cutting, folding, weaving and pinning it to make little sculptural gems.

From Fayetteville, Texas. James Orellana creates drawings and paintings under the pseudonym of "Carlos Maria." These colorful, seemingly naïve works are powerful insights into his thoughts and dreams. Pat Johnson makes narrative ceramic sculptures that are symbolic and whimsical.
